We all like our people to be imaginative and creative self-thinkers. We also like our people to be such imaginative and creative inventors who fail miserably at succeeding and marketing themselves in life. We also like our inventors and thinkers to create things that they hate so much and to be forever wreaked in guilt at the monster they've created.

This we appreciate and this we will commemorate. Philo Farnsworth is the inventor of the television.
